ERPNext & Frappe Functional Consultant

Position Overview 

We are seeking a skilled ERPNext & Frappe Consultant to design, develop, implement, and support ERPNext and Frappe Framework-based solutions tailored to meet our clients’ business needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of business processes, technical expertise in Frappe, and experience in ERPNext implementation and customization. 

Key Responsibilities 

1. Functional Consulting 

Work with clients to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into ERPNext configurations and customizations. 

Map business processes to ERPNext modules and identify process optimization opportunities. 

Configure ERPNext modules (e.g., HR, Accounting, Manufacturing, CRM, Sales, Purchase, Inventory) to meet client requirements. 

Provide end-user training and ensure adoption of the ERP system. 

Offer post-implementation support and enhancements. 

2. Technical Consulting 

Develop customizations, applications, and scripts using the Frappe framework. 

Design, build, and maintain ERPNext integrations with other systems (e.g., APIs, third-party tools). 

Perform data migration from legacy systems to ERPNext using ETL processes. 

Customize print formats, reports, and dashboards to client specifications. 

Troubleshoot and resolve ERPNext and Frappe technical issues. 

3. Project Management 

Collaborate with project managers to define scope, milestones, and deliverables. 

Ensure timely delivery of projects and manage client expectations effectively. 

Document project progress, technical specifications, and user manuals. 

4. Continuous Improvement 

Stay updated on the latest developments in ERPNext and Frappe technologies. 

Contribute to the internal knowledge base and best practices. 

Recommend new features and improvements to enhance client productivity. 

Qualifications 

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. 

Proven experience with ERPNext implementation, customization, and support. 

Hands-on expertise with the Frappe framework and Python development. 

Strong understanding of business processes in domains such as Accounting, HR, Sales, Manufacturing, etc.

Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Jinja templating for UI customizations. 

Experience with database management systems (e.g., MariaDB, MySQL). 

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. 

Preferred Skills 

Experience in project management or Agile methodologies. 

Knowledge of cloud hosting platforms (e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean) and server administration. 

Familiarity with Git or other version control systems. 

ERPNext functional certification is a plus. 

Soft Skills 

Strong client-facing and relationship-building skills. 

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. 

Effective time management and multitasking capabilities.
